KCA Marketing Ltd is led by Ken Cooper, and are specialists in providing marketing and IT assistance to businesses. Based in South Wales, the company covers clients across Wales and the South West of England.
Ken Cooper has many years experience in assisting businesses to grow and become more efficient and effective.
With degrees in Computer Science, Ken has covered a wide range of job types in his employed life, before founding Ken Cooper Associates in 1995. In 2003, this company became KCA Marketing Ltd.
He started life working for a large organisation, producing computer programs as well as solving problems by hand, and provided the business, and other related organisations with solutions to problems based on the results of computer simulations.
He then moved into Marketing, initially producing computer based business plans, but then moving on and providing strategic planning, budgeting and generating operating plans. While employed by British Gas Wales, he masterminded a customer care and image management programme which propelled the company to a position of being second only to Marks & Spencer (in Wales) in an independent survey of customer care. While in this role, Wales Region of British Gas won the internal Gold Flame (customer care) award 5 times. |

Ken worked with smaller companies during the final years of his employment by British Gas. He expanded the chain of independent outlets displaying and selling British Gas appliances by 250%, and formed The Catering Association, a group of independent commercial catering specialist firms who undertook work for British Gas.
In 1995, after taking Voluntary Redundancy from British Gas, he founded Ken Cooper Associates, a company specifically to concentrate on providing Marketing and IT support to businesses in South Wales.
He has worked on many Government sponsored programme, including SME Business, Opportunity Wales and eBusiness Support. As well as working with colleagues on these programmes, he has a range of qualified experts who KCA Marketing Ltd can call on should they need to.
Ken is a member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing, and a number of business clubs in South Wales. He is a Chartered Marketer, and an Accredited Information and Communication Technology Adviser. Both of these accreditations are renewed annually through a process of Continuous Personal Development, ensuring that he keeps up to date with progress made in each field.
He is also a Member of the British Computer Society, of the Institute of Business Consulting, a school Governor and a Director of Coed-y-Mwstwr Golf Club. |
